I am under constant discomfort and distress caused by the sound pollution around me. There’s this stupidest group of (–) boys playing void deck football at my opposite block. They are doing the very sinful and illegal things like kicking hard at the ball to hit the metal door to the pipes and against the wall, and screaming whatever dialect or language vulgarities they know.
And then, there are like minor renovation works going around, either at the blocks surrounding mine, or somewhere in one of the units of my block. As it’s an estate, these noises are like surround system (and maybe even contained, that’s why). If there are not renovation works, there will be some little knocking sounds, maybe trying to fix a nail to hang up some pictures, or whatever. And yes, they travel through the concrete slabs and walls, and the steel structure.

yea, aust doesn’t really snow, that picture was taken when i was in korea during winter time… i was thinking about the coldness i felt then… =)
