I love today’s walk in the city. Singapore is really beautiful city. I love my country’s urban scene; i love the buildings, the built-ups. I love being an urbanite.

some things that i deeply feel are thoroughly superficial and shallow… but i still like to think in that way. as long as i keep them hidden and my mouth shut, i will, one day, achieve them. definitely, it’s just time. and by then, i’ll enjoy, in silence, the satisfaction that i grin deep inside.

I thanked my gentleman for his understandings, tolerance and patience. What I’m doing is purely hoping to reach a point where at least the things I do would not upset you. Besides you, I do love myself a little too. You showed me tonight that maybe love can be much bigger. Maybe, approval is sufficient. maybe…

I have quite a bit to blog about, but I just can’t. I’m not doing well here… guess I’m selfish in this aspect, or else I simply can’t do it. I mean the emotional side.

Anyways, I’m also not well physically. Believe it has got to do with not being too happy as well, my head feels like flowing magma.

On top of all these, now I dun feel anything special bout tmr’s, not even scared.  Life has more pertinent things for me to sail in the magma.

Have you forgotten the beauty of Singapore? Or maybe to some, have you discovered the beauty of Singapore despite being a Singaporean?

I took bus 97 last night which brought me from Suntec to Vivo through the touristiest parts of Singapore and also several areas that provide heart beats for the country.

I saw the esplanade. Beautiful lights + water deco + the durains are simply awesome. Then the Merlion, this is what symbolizes our nation, although we might dispute how exactly relevant is that, but still, Merlion = Singapore. Then I saw the 3 tall towers of the IR across the marina barrage. They’re up and looking almost ready to check in. beautiful architecture, looks bit like curtains… them sticking up makes the streetscape interesting and quite a sight. Shenton way is next up. Trying to mimic the Manhattan’s, as I always thought whenever I was in the area, the night view gave me another feel. The sadness that the place is soulless at night and only useful to make money during the day leaves the magnificent buildings lonely and friend-less.

Moving on, the bus passed by the Singapore Chinese Orchestrate building and that brought back my band-ing dayz as we had a concert right inside that building. Our country never forgets the cultural or the softer aspect of our citizens. We ain’t just money making machines that the government drills us through intensive education and gets us work like slaves to pump money into the little nation-state (think the high taxes, CPF contribution, the latest HDB scheme for retirees etc.). Follow up right away was the whole long stretch of container port. So long that I couldn’t fathom where exactly I am and when I should get ready to walk down the double-decker to alight. Those ugly metal containers and the ‘masculine’ cranes built up Singapore’s reputation as a superbly efficient port that is one of the worlds busiest. As accredited, I aspire to be involved in such excellence and contribute my energy to make it even better if possible. I wish to rank myself among the best (not forgetting that the industry is a rewarding and potentially expanding one! hehe)

Next, another stretch of warehouses came to view and reminded me how the shipping industry is so tightly embedded in the flow of business, the entire flow of commerce… Then, I reached vivocity. Luckily, some peepz started to move and grabbed my attention to get ready too.

BOOMZ: whenever I walked past the num shop with their display of the word, huge and bright red, I just help but snicker to myself.

FROLICK: second on my fav yogurt list. Did I mention that I’m so over with ice cream and had moved on to yoghurt craze?

my dear fren cat shit in my flower pot for the umpteen times, and my dad isn’t happy. But i find it so funny! the cat is doing her thing, well and dandy as in not shitting anyway but places to let her gold decompose and not pose hazards. hahah

What can be more satisfying and heartwarming than surrounding urself with close friends and have a drink after a (or 3) day(s) of hard work? =) I luv u, all my high5, even the exxx-tremely irritating one =) !

i so like meeting new people nowadays!!!! i just wanna embrace them and welcome them into my life! it’s a revelation that really really got me passed my starhub days where terrible terrible memories haunt me until recently. i guess it’s all about growing up. Cuz u noe why i noe? i meet younger peepz and their way of carrying themselves, doing things, thinking, communication etc. are pretty much tactless and unpolished, and they transparent about what they feel or think. what a mirror of myself! how far can i differ from that?!

i totally feel the difference in me, the growth, the progression, and end of the gloomy tunnel. i see the light and the finished art. OH, this is sooo similar to what a captain told me recently: “if there is any teh-kan happening to you, it is to make you a better soldier”. applies to life as well…

Like I said, I may be the minority (in your eyes, which is totally screwed, and contrary to the reality), because I’m finer than others. If you’re reading this, you gotta admit this fact and drill it straight across your brain.

Spent some time getting to know a youngster… it’s really great to chat with people and find out more about them, and I enjoy sharing my experiences with them, only in the hope that these can help them get better and avoid the pitfalls which I’d already tested out. In this way, my fall backs can only be deemed valuable…
