it’s incredible this couple of days, cuz i’m having sweets~!

hehe, my boy gave me some really nice and ritzy moose, and trust me, they’re reallll~lllly nice! will give a review after i’ve savour all of them.

and chingus high 5 gave me a big brownie~!!! it’s not like a small block of it, but a whole cake tray of it! when mui hui said that there’s another dish – brownie – comin at Mr Bean, i thought we did order that at first and still waited it to serve. haha i really didn’t expect that to be baked by dear sky!

Super Rich Oreo Brownies

hey hey~!

i’m going to talk about the baking session on Wednesday!!! i can feel that the baking atmosphere is in the air, cuz shortly after that, i did something which i feel so proud of myself. -hehe-

okay, so on Wednesday, we baked the “Super Rich Oreo Brownies” and it was a success!!! thanks to the well equipped and experienced baker min xiu, we were able to deliver every steps well and corporately. before long, the brownie was exuding strong chocolaty aroma and we were so excited about it~!!!

so we tasted it…. it’s grrrrrr~eat~! haha the chocolate taste is super rich and smells really good. though it’s not really doughy like the brownie i mentioned earlier, i think it still matches up to salable standard, where certain richness and moist are nevertheless achieved. sadly, the oreo were crushed to too small bits that we can’t really bite/taste them while eating the brownies. Overall, it’s a fun and successful attempt. i will luuuuuvvv to have many more baking sessions with frens to come!!!! *hint*hint*

so the lust for baking didn’t end on that day, cuz my parents praised our brownies and i couldn’t stop myself from planning the next bake. i gathered info online and found a simple recipe…. Cinnamon cookie!!!!, matching up to my mediocre baking skills and inadequate apparatus and ingredients. heheh (btw, i like cinnamon) so i pulled out my lok-kok oven toast to venture into this self-attempt cookie baking…. hehehe ended up, well pretty successful, just that the end product turned out to assimilate short cake than cookie. i couldn’t measure what’s 5g of baking soda and later found out that i added too little of it….which explains the lack of crust and crisp… nevertheless, it still tastes great~!

i’ve so much things to blog about today, but i’ll just sieve out some for utmost splendid….

I had a very fun weekend. Basically I realized that quite an handful of places in Singapore are having Japanese and/or Korean food fiesta. But they’re kinda get-by type that typically stuffed the fest with exceptionally more Japanese products than Korea’s. Anyways, it’s good that the Korean wave is hitting harder and getting more infiltrative into Singapore’s heartlands, as well as the central too.

Ooooo the main point here that I almost forgot is the Brownie Factory at Taka’s food mall basement! O-m-g I tell u, the brownie there is really really 진짜 진짜 delicious!!!! Though prices are bit steep (bout >$3 per rather small piece), I can proudly say that they deliver what they’ priced. I now declare that Brownie Factory’s Fudgy Chewy Gooey Brownie is the best brownie that I’ve eaten as of today. And I’m gonna set that brownie as my goal on the coming baking session. Hehe. So how did Fudgy Chewy Gooey Brownie capture my sweet heart and tooth??? Firstly, I’ll just mention its one and only shortcoming: it lacks the crispy crust that comes by with a bit (over) baking (??). or in another words, it doesn’t have the little bits of crunchiness of Swensen’s Celebrity Brownie…

Apart from that, lemme tell u, it’s truly heavenly. It’s moist to a certain extent that supports the dense and chocolate which complicates the whole thing to be un-differentiable between cake and chocolate~ u noe the frustration inside, whereby it’s so yummy that u’re like eating chocolate and also bit of cakey cake??? Hahaha and I luv the chocolaty-ness cuz it’s also of prestigious taste: it’s gooey plus chewy plus fudgy – hahah that’s exactly what its name suggests! the churning inside ur mouth is soo blissful…. All I can say is please go buy it and try it out urself. It’s the heavenly taste that words can’t really describe. =) oh and I must say that the Brownie Factory is just a short stretch of counter near the entrance, so dun miss it while excitingly walking in~ big thanks to my boy for this recommendation.

Yesterday was my brother’s commencement. it’s kinda rush and with some hitches at the beginning. But the entire thing was still very celebrative and happy. My brother looked good yesterday, especially with his big gown flowing here and there on him. Just by judging the size of that gown, I can tell that he’s really tall and big… ha-ha and I’d secretively looked into his certificate and transcript. Well, oh well, there’s nothing surprising to definitely see good result and grades, but it exuded a strong force upon me to really work hard and strive high as what my brother had achieved. =) yes, I’ll do well. 나는 잘 할 것이다.

I’m dealing with a series of cat affairs recently, and I’ve been deeply affected by one evil cat. I’m taking my revenge soon and u evil cat: u continue ur sinister acts and u’ll by all odds get IT FROM ME!!!!!
